Airing from 1968 to 1980, 'Hawaii Five-O' focused on a fictional statewide law-enforcement team, headed up by Steve McGarrett. Viewers came for the scenery and stayed for the action, the cast, and the Morton Stevens theme (named the best tv theme ever by the Saturday Evening Post). 03:20 BONUS: The Morton Stevens theme gets a 21st century treatment in the 2010 reboot 'Hawaii Five-0' (uses a zero instead of the letter 'O'). An ill-advised lawsuit by the Stevens children over the re-use of his theme was ultimately withdrawn.
